I'm not here to tell you how to lead.

ABOUT QUINTIYA

I’m here to help you discover it for yourself.

Before I was an HR strategist or an executive coach, I was an athlete. That story is where everything begins.

A calling that started when the whistle stopped.

THE ORIGIN

For thirteen years, my identity lived entirely inside my sport. My schedule, my sense of worth, my community were all organized around a whistle I did not control. And when that whistle blew for the last time, I had no idea who I was without it.

I was accomplished, competitive, and disciplined. I was also completely lost.

What I needed and could not find was someone who had been exactly where I was and could help me figure out who I was on the other side of it. That experience is why QuintEssential Leadership Coaching exists.

"The most effective leaders, on any team and in any industry, know exactly who they are. My work is to help people find that.”

THE BRIDGE

After I found my footing, I built a career at the intersection of people and strategy. As a strategic HR leader, I spent over a decade working alongside executives, managers, and frontline leaders through reorganizations, performance challenges, leadership transitions, and rapid growth.

What I kept seeing in the boardroom and on the field was the same thing: talented, driven people who knew what they wanted to accomplish but could not bridge the gap between who they were and who they needed to become.

That observation, born first in an athletic locker room and confirmed over years in corporate conference rooms, became a calling.

From the locker room to the boardroom and back.

AFTER THE WHISTLE

Coaching for elite college athletes in transition

That experience of losing your sport and yourself with it inspired a dedicated program for college athletes navigating the end of their athletic careers. Because nobody should have to figure that out alone.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Every leader has a QuintEssential self

The version of you that shows up fully, leads authentically, and creates real impact. Whether you are navigating the C-suite, stepping into your first management role, or rebuilding your identity after the final whistle blows, the work starts from the inside out.
I work best with people who are willing to get honest, do the work, and commit to growth that goes beyond surface-level changes.

Curiosity over prescription

I ask questions before I offer answers. Your context is not generic and your coaching shouldn't be either.

Self-discovery over advice

The most durable leadership growth comes from insight you reach yourself, not a playbook someone handed you.

Accountability as a gift

Naming the gap between intention and action is not judgment. It's the work. I hold that space with honesty and care.

The whole leader

Your identity, values, and lived experience are not separate from your leadership. They are the foundation of it.

β€œThe retired athlete in you is not gone. She is just waiting for a new game. The same is true of the leader you know you are capable of becoming.”
